Benefits
The metal modular ramp system (including wheelchair ramps) is manufactured from galvanised steel and is simply bolted together. Installation is quick and easy, with the ramp available for immediate use.
Easiramp comes with a range of amazing features as standard; such as our galvanised platforms and handrails for long lasting, complete protection against the elements. As well as trombone ends, to prevent snagging.
The modular nature of each ramp means they are designed to facilitate easy dismantling and speedy reconfiguration without the need for any cutting or customisation. With recycling and reusability at the centre of our product design, considerable cost savings are achievable.

Galvanised
Ramp platforms and handrails are hot dip galvanised providing a complete protection against the elements.

Powder Coated
Electrostatic powder coating provides a durable and warm to touch surface on all ramp handrails.

Balustrade Rail
Prevents passing of a 100mm sphere through any ramp section. Required in many installations, over a certain height and recommended where children will use the equipment.

Hatch Sections
Provides an easy and cost effective solution to access inspection chambers, drainage or other obstacles often found on site.

Trombone Ends
Trombone ends can be added to the ramp to prevent clothes from snagging.

Connectors
Connectors allow for the adjustment in gradient of the ramp without the need to cut rails.

Gate Unit
Universal gates allow for left or right handed installation without the need for a separate product.

Step Units
Versatile and adjustable step units can stand alone or attach to the modular ramp for ambulant stepped access.

Midrail
Our ramp system can incorporate a midrail which is perfect for wheelchair users, especially where self propelled.

Ramp Surfaces

Metal Surface
Our expanded metal surface is a high quality, cost effective option, produced from mild steel. The multi-directional grip surface has been tested and certified as having a low slip a potential rating across a range of gradients, in both wet and dry conditions.
The surface provides natural drainage allowing users to maintain a secure footing in all weather conditions. Due to the mesh profile, grip is provided in all directions and is designed to create a comfortable yet sturdy surface underfoot, that is suitable for most types of footwear.

Easitread
Easitread is produced from rubber crumb which is resin bound and screeded on to the platform frame at a thickness of 15mm.
Surface
The surface provides a soft yet durable surface with excellent drainage properties. Ideal for use in schools and often considered for animals.Colours
Available in black as standard, however, colour options are available as is the possibility to incorporate highlighted sections and even decals.

GRP
GRP is produced from 6mm flat sheets, covered in extra-hard aluminium oxide granules and supported by u-channel beams, providing an extremely strong walk way.
Surface
Various surface grades are available: Industrial grade 16, Pedestrian grade 24 and Barefoot grade 40.Colour
Available in grey or black as standard, other colour options are available as is the ability to include highlighted edges. The GRP surface is ideally suited to high traffic environments.

Waffle
Glass-Reinforced-Plastic Open Mini-Mesh panels (Waffle) are renowned for their exceptional durability, load-bearing capacity’s and resistance to harsh environments.
They are specifically designed for pedestrian walkways in diverse settings, including domestic, industrial, and commercial applications. Common uses encompass ramps, platforms and gantries.
Handrails

Standard
This is our standard handrail option – with the rail height being 900mm high and having a 450mm high midrail and 100mm upstand. They are green as standard and contrast with the surface of the ramp.

Balustrade
Balustrade handrails are required over 380mm on non-domestic ramps and 600mm high on domestic ramps. This is used to also prevent people from being able to climb the handrails, often specified in scenarios where children will be using a ramp.

1100mm High Balustrade
This type of balustrade handrail is required on level walkways when working in non domestic environment. Ramps can still have 900mm high handrails, but the level walkways (platforms) must have 1100mm high handrails.

Yes, we provide 2D and 3D drawings with all of our quotations. These are created in-house and give you a clear, realistic visual of how your access solution will look once installed.
Our standard expanded metal mesh platforms have a safe working load of more than 1000kg depending on variables such as its configuration. Its safe to say that it can hold more than enough weight than you’ll need. If needed, we can provide load testing and specification documentation upon request for further details.
