Rampathon 2 Is Coming!!

IT IS BACK!! With the success of the last years Rampathon, Easibathe and Easiaccess are excited to announce that we are going to be hosting Rampathon 2!

What is the Rampathon?

The Rampathon is a 24-hour challenge that we took on for the first time last year. We installed a circuit in our HQ car park using our modular ramp and platform system and set out to see just how many laps we could complete within a full 24 hours. To track the laps we covered, we had an iPad set up and every time you completed a lap, you tap the iPad to register it.

There’s just one key rule, the walking can’t stop. At least one person must be on it at all times, day and night, meaning the challenge relies on teamwork, determination, and a few dedicated night-shift walkers.

Last year, we completed an incredible 12,601 laps, which is the equivalent distance from Newcastle to Big Ben. A huge effort from everyone involved, but that was just a bench mark… This year, we’re aiming to go even further!

Looking Back At Last Year

With it being our first attempt at the challenge, we went into it not fully knowing what to expect, especially when it came to the physical demands. We started strong, setting off at a steady pace and building early momentum.

As the evening went on and the team began to thin out, the challenge became more demanding. We quickly realised that the night shift wasn’t just about keeping moving, it required planning and teamwork. Shift patterns were introduced to make sure the ramp was always in use, while allowing people to rest and recover where possible.

In the morning (to the night shift crews delight) fresh faces returned and picked up where others had left off, giving those who powered through the night a well-earned break. It was a great display of teamwork and camaraderie, with everyone playing their part to keep the challenge going.

As we approached the finish, we fired up the BBQ and brought everyone together to celebrate what had already been a huge success. That final push saw even more laps added, taking us to an incredible 12,601 laps overall.

When put into perspective, that’s the equivalent distance from our HQ in Newcastle, all the way to Big Ben, a brilliant achievement that everyone involved could be proud of.

Alongside the effort and determination, the feedback from the team was overwhelmingly positive, so much so that we knew we had to come back for round two.

If you’d like to see how it all unfolded, take a look at the video below.

Why do we do it?

At Easibathe and Easiaccess we formed Easifoundation, our charitable initiative dedicated to giving back to the communities where we live and work. Through this, we aim to support local charities, organisations, and individuals by contributing our time, energy, and resources where they’re needed most.

Rampathon plays a key role in that effort. Last year, we raised over £1,100 through the challenge, a contribution that makes a real difference to the causes we support.

But Easifoundation is about more than fundraising. Alongside events like Rampathon, we actively get involved in the local community, from volunteering at Newcastle Dog and Cat Shelter, to installing dog care pods at Guide Dogs UK in Newcastle, and supporting projects such as fence painting for Leeds Irish Health and Homes.

These efforts, alongside many others, help us create a lasting and meaningful impact beyond the workplace.

What to Expect For Rampathon 2

Following the success of last year’s event, we’re back, and this time, we’re aiming to go even bigger and better. As a team, we’ve looked at what we achieved and set our sights on beating it.

📅Date: 16/07/2026
⏱️Start Time: 3pm
📍Location: Easibathe and Easiaccess Car Park

This time, more people, more fun, more distance.

One of the biggest changes this year is the ramp itself. With recent expansions to our car park, we now have the space to create a longer circuit. That means every lap will take us further than before, increasing both the challenge and the total distance we can achieve.

While it will be more demanding, we’re better prepared and ready to take it on.

We’d love for you to be part of it, whether that’s coming down to support, cheering the team on, or even getting involved and completing a few laps yourself.

If you’d like to donate and help us reach our target of £1000, you can do so here: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/rampathon2

Every little helps!
